Principal

Mr.Carriero

It is an honor and privilege to be the Principal at Charles J. Riley. I am looking forward to a year filled with student achievement and success. As we embark on our goal of preparing all students for High School, College, and beyond, I cannot do this alone. We, the faculty and staff of CJR, are dedicated and prepared to lead our students to the next level. I am very excited to see our students walking through the hallways and interacting with them on a daily basis. As a fellow graduate of Paterson Public Schools, I take my role very serious and look for the best for all students. The students are the top priority at CJR and I am looking forward to a fantastic year. WE ARE FAMILY HERE AT CJR!!!

I am a S.T.A.R. at CJR…Striving, Thinking, Achieving, Reaching!

Mr. Carriero

Vice Principal

As I enter my 15th year in education, I get just as excited as our parents, teachers, and students to begin a new academic school year. As far back as I can remember, I always knew I wanted to be in the field of education. Growing up in an inner city, I was inspired by my 3rd grade teacher and in return I knew that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of urban youth.

Ms.Canonico

Acting Vice Principal

I am very happy to have students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with enthusiasm for learning. I have always had a passion for educating our youth and helping them to achieve their dreams and aspirations. I believe that when we all work together as leaders, staff, parents, students, and the community, we provide the best educational experience to ensure success for all students.
